New Competition Starts Tomorrow for Battlefield 3 Premium Members

So maybe you're more of a Battlefield kind of guy than Call of Duty. No worries, because DICE has you covered.

Battlefield 3 Premium members are getting another competition by month's end, and lone wolves with a taste for blood need not apply. This time around, the competition is all about support, as DICE is looking for the best team player. Players are tasked with helping to heal and revive teammates, spot assists, repairing, ammo resupplies, that sort of thing.

Only Premium members with Battlefield 3's Aftermath DLC will be eligible, as the competition is only taking place on Aftermath maps, in Conquest mode. As detailed by Battlelog, players must first get access to a server password for the game's competition server, which you receive after agreeing to terms and conditions on Battlelog here. From there, find any server named "January Premium Competition" and have a number attached to it. You can search for this name using the manual server browser's filter functionality. From there, once you've entered the password, you're good to go.

During the next 72 hours, DICE will monitor who can accumulate the most team play score. With teamwork being the theme, the only eligible team score actions for the sake of this competition are:

* Revives
* Savior kills
* Heals
* Ammo resupplies
* Spot assists
* Squad attack orders
* Squad defend orders
* Repairs

Players have until midnight on Sunday, Jan. 27, to get the best score.

Winners will be posted on Battlelog shortly after the competition ends, and then contacted via email with a winner's code they can redeem at the DICE Store to claim their prize and have it shipped to them. The prize for this weekend's competition is a limited edition, signed and numbered lithograph featuring artwork from Battlefield 3.

Sleep well little virtual warriors, the competition starts tomorrow.
