Recent news and updates regarding the upcoming return of “Marco Polo” Season 3 is on the downside. There are claims that the cancellation has just been affirmed and the tale of Kublai Khan has finally come to its end. Also, rumors of Benedict Wong moving on to a new series is skyrocketing as well.
Given the success of the segment, many are expecting that "Marco Polo" Season 3 would indeed return. However, with the rumors looming, a new speculation has occurred. As for the details pertaining to the cancellation, no word from Netflix has been relayed thus the cancellation is still unverified.
Given the speculations, it remains unsettled that Benedict Wong would move on to a new project because "Marco Polo" Season 3 would not be renewed. Also, with the cliffhanging end of the previous season, some are still anticipating that a renewal would definitely take place.

In a different report from iTech Post, it relayed that even creator John Fusco is thrilled of the segment and with that knowledge at bay, many could expect a green light to occur any time soon. Even though the air date for "Marco Polo" Season 3 remains unsettled, fans and followers should not lose hope.
There has been no word from Netflix as to when "Marco Polo" Season 3 would finally return. However, given the success of the series, a glimmer of hope is still shining for the segment and that is more than enough to satiate the fans and followers of the tv series.
