Both the Sony Xperia XZ and Sony Xperia X Compact smartphones that were announced at the IFA 2016 in Germany. Recently, both Sony variants are officially confirmed and, starting this month, the production will begin to be purchased in the U.S.
Sony Xperia XZ & Sony Xperia X Compact Specs and Features
The Sony Xperia XZ flagship features a 5.2-inch screen display, which comes up with the same level as Samsung S7 and Samsung S7 Edge and a full HD resolution. It is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 3GB of RAM and a 32GB of expandable storage with the support for a microSD card.
The Sony Xperia XZ also sports a 23-megapixel rear camera that has a 5-axis video stabilization and 4K video shooting and a 13-megapixel front camera. The Sony flagship includes a USB Type-C port, a fingerprint scanner and a battery capacity of 2.900 mAh.
Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia X Compact is a smaller flagship that features a 4.6-inch HD display and powered by the Snapdragon 650, a 3GB of RAM with a 32GB expandable memory up to 32GB. The Sony Xperia X Compact has a 23-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It also has a USB Type-C, a fingerprint reader and a battery capacity of 2,700 mAh.
Sony Xperia XZ & Sony Xperia X Compact Release Date & Prices
Both Sony Xperia XZ and Sony Xperia X Compact will be available in the U.S. with the price tag of $699 and $499, respectively. Sony Xperia XZ will be out in the U.S. in Oct. 2, while Sony Xperia X Compact will be in the market in Sept. 25.
