Respawn's "Titanfall 2" did not brushed aside PC in favor of consoles. Although this action game left PC in August beta testing, it is now clear that the issue is about delays in dedicated development.
Now after a month since, "Titanfall 2" will soon invade PC so system requirements are here ahead. According to Respawn producer Drew McCoy, they intentionally skipped compromise between minimum and recommended but asked for singular set of requirements instead.
McCoy clarifies that this new approach is not meant to shun gamers with baseline rigs. "Titanfall 2" aims to satisfy gamers through seamless gaming experience so requirements should be non-negotiable if possible, McCoy added. In the end, the argument silts to 1600x900 display resolution that is capable of 60 frames per second. Respawn assures best visual and smooth game if gamers can meet this criterion, Game Spot reported.
Now for the specs that "Titanfall 2" wants from the gamers, 64-bit Windows 7 to 10 are good to go. Rig processor should be Intel Core i5-6000 or any of its equivalent, according to PC Gamer. Gamers will then need Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB although 2GB versions of these can run at noticeable lag. Also,16GB memory is needed although reports said that half of this capacity will accommodate as well.
Then proceeding into three more requirements, 45GB hard disk space is a must for "Titanfall 2." There should also be a DirectX 11 installed in the PC. Then additionally, an internet connection of at least 512 Kbps or higher.
Meanwhile, here is another tip for those who wants better graphics. "Titanfall 2" is 4K capable at 60 FPS to maximum of 144 FPS. Sounds good, right? Gamers needs Inter Core i7-6700k processor for this option to work though. All other requirements remain the same for 4K gameplay so no need to worry about the rest.
