Grand Theft Auto V PC Version Listed By Amazon France

Amazon France has listed Rockstar's upcoming open world action-adventure video game, Grand Theft Auto V for Windows PC.

Digital Spy has reported that the online retailer appears to be taking pre-orders for the PC version of the video game. Rockstar has yet to announce GTA5 for the platform and has only announced that the game will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Digital Spy notes that Amazon's French site has a history of leaking news on upcoming video game releases. The website revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops II back in February 2012 before Activision had released any information about the military shooter.

PC gamers have been attempting to get Rockstar to bring Grand Theft Auto 5 to the PC and have created an online petition for the game that has attracted more than 140,000 signatures, according to Digital Spy.

GTA5 will release in spring 2013 with some analyses saying April and others saying late-June. The game will take players back to the fictional state of San Andres and the state's fictional city of Los Santos, which was last seen in 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andres.

The game will feature a new set of missions for the curious type of gamer called Dynamic Missions. Gamers will encounter scenarios that may lead to missions such as finding a car with dead bodies or picking up a strange hitchhiker. The new feature is being added to make the game more engaging during the downtime between missions.

Unlike previous games in the series, there will be three protagonists with each individual character having his very own separate life away from the main story. This means that each protagonist has his own friends, home and extracurricular activities, which will provide more variety than the game's predecessor GTA4.
