Capcom announced the game in honor of the the 25th anniversary for the Company's two flagship franchises. Instead of the countless robot masters Mega Man has gone up against over his long and storied career, now he's taking the fight to the world warriors of Street Fighter.
"Having fought countless robot masters over the years, Mega Man is ready to lay back, relax and enjoy his 25th Anniversary. Getting wind of this, Ryu and his fellow Street Fighters want one last battle before they let their own anniversary finish," described Capcom.
Among the brawlers include classic street fighters Ryu, Chun-Li, Blanka, and a few new schoolers like Rolento, Rose, and Urien. Like in past titles, Mega will absorb their talents upon defeating them. Seeing the blue bomber re-enact Chun-Li's patented lightning kick...it's truly a remarkable sight to behold.
Fans can grab the patch from Capcom's Mega Man hub, as per usal. And for Mega audiophiles, the game's entire soundtrack is also up for grabs.
