The breaking up of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is also literally breaking the world. Until now, fans are all puzzled about what happened to their "relationship goals". Issues of infidelity have been associated for the filed divorce by Angelina Jolie but another reason is surfacing; could it really be because of child abuse?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married in August 23, 2014. The renowned couple has been together for 12 years. They are biological parents to 10-year old Shiloh Nouvel and 8-year old twins Vivienne and Knox while foster parents to 15-year old Maddox Chivan, 12-year old Pax Thien, and 11-year old Zahara Marley.
Hollywood Reporter detailed that L.A. Country Department of Children and Family Services could not confirm nor deny the child abuse allegations being thrown to Brad Pitt. They said that they have very strict confidentiality laws and the laws do not allow them to confirm or deny the subjects of their investigations.
Moreover, Amara Suarez of Department of Children and Family Services told ET that when a tipster reports regarding a minor, a social worker is sent to the home to investigate the allegations of the child abuse.
As for the progress of the case, LAPD (L.A. Police Department) clarified with Fox News that they are not handling allegations against Brad Pitt. "There was an incident that occurred on a plane and the FBI is currently handling it. We're not handling any investigation into this incident with Brad Pitt.", the LAPD spokesperson told FN.
The incident that occurred on a plane that LAPD is pertaining to is the one that happened last September 14. An investigation was launched by FBI when a caller reported that allegedly points as to how Brad Pitt got verbally and physically abusive with one of his children on the couple's private plane; the plane was flying from France back to the United States.
The alleged abuse child was not named by the caller but it was reported that Angelina Jolie and their five children were present at the time of the incident.
The FBI is in its continuous search for facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued. The possible "Brangelina" divorce may be saddening for fans but the effects for their five children that are now being involved are more alarming.
