The kids from "Stranger Things" have been everywhere as of late, which understandably has caused more excitement for the second season of the Netflix series. But is it possible that some of the young actors will not be returning in "Stranger Things" Season 2? Is Finn Wolfhard leaving the series for bigger projects? Will Noah Schnapp's Will Byers get written off the storyline when the show returns next year?
'Stranger Things' Season 2 Young Cast Attends The Emmys ... Without Finn Wolfhard And Noah Schnapp
The recent Emmy Awards wasn't just all about "Game of Thrones" and "Mr. Robot". The young cast of "Stranger Things" Season 2 was also present to completely steal the show from the grownups. Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) happily performed "Uptown Funk" and even handed out some PB&J sandwiches to the audience. However, the group was noticeably missing Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler).
Of course, there is a good reason why the two other "Stranger Things" Season 2 stars were not able to attend the Emmys. Noah Schnapp recently made an appearance in the music video for Panic! At The Disco's "LA Devotee". Finn Wolfhard has also been getting his music on, supporting PUP at the recent Polaris Music Prize (via Consequence of Sound). In addition to that, Wolfhard is still working on the new adaptation of Stephen King's "IT", where he will portray Richie Tozier of the Losers Club.
It is highly unlikely that Noah Schnapp or Finn Wolfhard will be written out of "Stranger Things". Fans still want to know what exactly was happening to Will Byers in the previous season finale. Mike Wheeler has also been somehow confirmed to return by Matt and Ross Duffer (via GamenGuide). The "Stranger Things" Season 2 air date has not yet been announced, but the series is expected to return on Netflix by early 2017.
