The new action role-playing video game title "Kingdom Hearts 3" has been a subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for a few years now. Ever since the second installment of the franchise was release more than a decade ago, fans and critics have already shared their own predictions on what to expect on the upcoming title. While fans are getting excited for its nearing release, several reports are suggesting that not all players will get to experience the third installment of the popular video game series.
According to reports, "Kingdom Hearts 3" is no longer including the listing of Xbox Store Japan, which led industry experts to speculate that the upcoming title will be an exclusive game for PlayStation 4. However, many fans believe that the absence of the new game in the Xbox Japan website could just be a glitch. Game developer and publisher Square Enix has yet to confirm whether the game will arrive as PlayStation 4 exclusive or not.
Nonetheless, Square Enix's official website and Microsoft Store still have the "Kingdom Hearts 3" listed to be available for both gaming consoles. Although both websites already have a price for the new game, the game developer has yet to provide the release date details of the new title.
According to GameRant, the possibility of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game to become a PlayStation 4 only title is still pretty high. The reason for that is the fact that the two previous installments of the series were both released as PlayStation 4 exclusive games. However, fans will have to wait for Square Enix to make an official announcement confirming these reports.
The upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" will also come out as a PlayStation 4 only game. The HD remastered collection of all "Kingdom Hearts" games is already scheduled to arrive in December this year. Stay tuned for more news and updates about the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3."
