Fans are now waiting for the coming of "Peaky Blinders" Season 4 as they all want to know what will happen to the Shelby family. With that, the creator of the show Steven Knight and actor Cillian Murphy, who portrays lead star Tommy, talked about the coming TV series.
Will Tommy Have A Transformation?
"Peaky Blinders" Season 4 got renewed by BBC Two before its third season concluded in May. Steven Knight is, once again, going to pen the new installment's entire episodes, which will be in production in the coming year. There is no confirmation yet regarding its release date or how many episodes it will have, but all the details about the show are expected to be announced in 2017.
As Cillian Murphy continues to play as Tommy in "Peaky Blinders" Season 4, he revealed that his character is "one of the most intense and challenging" portrayals he has made. "I'm particularly grateful that Steven's original, dynamic writing and the long form series allow me to explore Tommy in depth," Murphy told Digital Spy. The 40-year-old star even teased that Tommy will have a transformation in the future episodes.
Steven Knight, on the other hand, said that he is now excited to pen "Peaky Blinders" Season 4 and 5. The screenwriter even hinted that he is going to tell more stories about the Shelby family. The show will also have its original stars, Helen McCrory as Polly, Paul Anderson as Arthur, Sophie Rundle as Ada, Joe Cole as John and Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons.
EP Admits Cillian Murphy Is The Perfect 'Peaky Blinders' Actor
Meanwhile, executive producer of Caryn Mandabach described Cillian Murphy has a "movie-star stillness in him" that can be seen in "Peaky Blinders" Season 4. "It's when the camera loves to stay on your face, and you can just think what the character is thinking, and it comes across," she told The Australian. She went on that the actor is naturally born with it. BBC has yet to announce the coming of "Peaky Blinders" Season 4, but it is expected to be out in 2017.
