As "Gotham" Season 3 may already be headed to a stronger impact soon, especially with the first episode's utter success. That being said, one particular speculation may be the biggest tease to note for rest of the series, as well as a villain that could potentially be a game changer.
Warner Bros.' "Gotham" Season 3 released its first episode entitled "Mad City: Better to Reign in Hell" which ultimately gave some hints on the potential villains that Gotham City will have to look out for. Particularly, Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) is the one to stir the controversy even more.
According to International Business Times, some clues depict that Barbara will not only become a villain in "Gotham" Season 3, but is presumed to take the identity of Harley Quinn. Even if the said idea may not adhere to the original, Barbara's sinister laugh seemingly implies such, prior to beating up the one threatening her.
More intriguingly, IGN reported that the Co-executive Producers Ken Woodruff and John Stephens claimed that fans have already laid eyes on Harley Quinn without the knowledge of it. Furthermore, they have the control to do so and perhaps tease her creation along the path of "Gotham" Season 3.
As per The Wrap, one more important villain that will most likely take the attention of DC fans in the future of "Gotham" Season 3 is Ivy Pepper, who will then transform into Poison Ivy. It was hinted that the "Gotham City Sirens" will be formed further on, given that Selina Kyle or Catwoman is already an existing character.
Igniting "Gotham" Season 3 even more is the spawning of Jervis Tetch, also known as the classic DC villain Mad Hatter, played by Benedict Samuel. As he is known, the character stops at nothing to find his person of interest, which in this case, is his sister Alice.
The hit series "Gotham" Season has some surprises up its sleeves as the days pass by. Will the speculations fulfill as the fans see it?
