Developer Bandai Namco has confirmed that its role-playing game, "Dragon Ball: Fusions," will be launching in different countries across the globe very soon. This game, wherein players can collect and fuse different characters from the Dragon Ball series, will be available in North America in December 13 and in Europe in February 2017.
GameSpot reports that Bandai Namco's latest game "Dragon Ball: Fusions" launched earlier this year in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. The new game showcases characters from the Dragon Ball series from different eras and makes use of a chibi style in its art. It follows the story of new characters, Pinich and Tekka, in their efforts to summon the dragon Sheron and make a new world from mixing different elements of Dragon Ball. The duo will be travelling through different worlds to recruit many different Dragon Ball characters to fuse them and make more powerful fighters out of them.
Twinfinite reports that the game is being developed by Ganbarion Co., which is best known for their awesome work on the Jump Star series."Dragon Ball Fusions" will be featuring a very wide cast of characters that will span across the older ones to the more recent Dragon Ball Super. On the other hand, the gameplay will focus on combat as well as on its role-playing elements such as customization and collecting elements.
Dennis Lee, Director of Brand Marketing at Bandai Namco said that "the Nintendo 3DS continues to be a popular platform for gamers on the go." He also adds in describing how they feel that they are "excited to finally bring a Dragon Ball RPG experience to its fans." Finally, he says that with this, they can see players take their own Dragon Ball adventure with them wherever they go and share experiences with their friends through multiplayer mode.
There has not been much hit games that come from the Dragon Ball series, the more it is for a portable handheld gaming device. With "Dragon Ball Fusions" soon to be released, all that is about to change as every Dragon Ball fan will be taking his Dragon Ball adventure and make it his.
