The phrase "Gotta Catch 'Em All" has entirely different connotations between a Pokémon trainer, and a hoarder. At least, so one would think, supposing there's even a difference between the two. After all, the game is based on catching every last creature (they now number over 650, with more surely to come with Pokémon X and Y) and battling them until the poor things pass out. So Michael Vick could easily switch careers.
There's a lot of grisly things seen in A&E's "Hoarders." Animator Mosamabindrawin took what he saw, and applied it where it would have the most resounding impact, the wholesome world of Pokémon. See for yourself below, just remember, even though it's animated, it's still pretty grisly.
What, you think Professor Oak kept all the Pokémon nice in neat in their safe, cozy little Poké balls once you went out the door with your starter? Think again.
Looking past such potential childhood destroying material, from what we've seen of Pokémon X and Y so far, the games introduce at least five new types of Pokemon: 3 new starters, and 2 new legendary types.
Not unlike the original three starters, the new Pokémon are water, fire, and grass types, Froakie, Fennekin, and Chespin, respectively. As for the legendary types, there's the deer type Xerneas, and the bird type Yveltal. They're also the reason for the titles for the new games, no doubt. Beyond that, not much more has been uncovered about the new games.
Technically speaking, both Pokémon X and Y feature a completely 3D styled gameplay, and an aesthetically overhauled battle system, featuring more lively reactions to the attacks. The games are set for an October release on 3DS and 3DS XL.
