Rumor has it that fans of the anime title may have to wait a little longer but reports claimed that the second season of the hit anime TV adaptation has been confirmed to launch after the spinoff.
Because of the success of the "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 1, the producers released a four-episode special OVA which is still being aired in TBS in Tokyo while MBS streams the show in Kansai Region. The spinoff was set to air for four successive weeks which will end on Sunday. This is the reason why fans are now awaiting for "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2, Yibada reported.
The original director of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 1 was Tensai Okamura but it was Tomokazu Tokorowill who directed the special OVA spinoff. The voice artists, however, were kept the same. It remains to be seen if "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 will keep the same director and artists as the original show but what has been confirmed so far is that the sequel will be released this year.
"The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 release date will reportedly be announced in the 43rd issue of Kodansha's weekly Shonen magazine. No other details about the upcoming season were confirmed, however. The producers have not revealed the storyline of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 as well.
