Only 5,000 editions have been made, so fans better act quick to secure their copy. Fans can order the Dev-Team Edition from EA here. It's important to note, that even though Dead Space 3 releases in the US on Feb. 5, Dev-Team Editions ship on Feb. 4, meaning you might not get your hands on your stuff as quick as the game, which ships separately.
A trailer below gives a few more details on all the goodies the Dev-Team Edition offers.
Dead Space 3 sees players embark on a thrilling ride through space that takes them to a hostile new planet, Tau Volantis. Fortunately, they are not alone this time around. The fully integrated drop-in/drop-out co-op feature gives players the option to play alone or team-up with a friend anytime. Players that choose to take down the terror together will experience additional story details, side missions and gameplay mechanics only found when playing as John Carver. You can watch a trailer showing off the new co-op mode here.
Special weapons have been announced depending on where you pre-order your game from, and EA has also announced a Limited Edition of Dead Space 3, which offers two bonus suits, as well as two bonus weapons, different than those announced for pre-orders. Visceral Games recently announced that the Xbox 360 version will feature Kinect voice controls that should "make it easier for co-op partners to give each other health or ammo, find objectives, revive one another and more," even if you have a dirty, filthy mouth.
Dead Space 3 will be available in the States for Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on Feb. 5, and in Europe Feb. 8.
