Aslaug's connection and possible alliance with King Harald Finehair was already teased in the first half of "Vikings" Season 4. The two characters had an unusual exchange in Season 4 Episode 4, where King Harald speaks about a princess he wanted to marry and seemingly referring to Aslaug. In "Yol", he also declares that he wants to become King of all Norway, to which Aslaug responds that Harald will have to overthrow Ragnar Lothbrok to achieve his goal. Will Aslaug Use King Harald Finehair To Kill Ragnar Lothbrok In 'Vikings' Season 4 Episode 11?
GamenGuide has previously reported about Aslaug trying to get the Seer to confirm whether she will rule Kattegat after Ragnar Lothbrok's death. However, Ragnar's unexpected return in the "Vikings" Season 4 midseason finale may have the Queen worried that she will not be able to keep the throne. There are speculations that Aslaug will use King Harald Finehair to get rid of Ragnar. This could mean that they will betray Ragnar and surrender him to King Aelle of Northumbria.
It's no secret that King Aelle of Northumbria abhors Ragnar Lothbrok, and that he was the one who had executed the King of Kattegat in the Norse legends (via GamenGuide). There are speculations that "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11 will find Aslaug and King Harald striking a deal to take Kattegat for themselves by capturing Ragnar and giving him to King Aelle. This will then lead to Ragnar's death in the pit of snakes when the series returns on November 30.
