In the return of "Supernatural" Season 12, someone is set to be back that will be the biggest surprise in Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam's (Jared Padalecki) lives. Amara (Emily Swallow) has a very priceless gift for the Winchester brothers that will also give them a shock.
The Return Of Mary In 'Supernatural' Season 12
Specifically, Amara will surprise Dean with the return of her mother, Mary (Samantha Smith), in "Supernatural" Season 12. The role of the 46-year-old star is often seen in flashbacks, but now, she can go walk hand in hand with Dean to hunt. But as Dean and Sam are now apart, fans are hoping that Sam could also join them, as per Geeks of Doom. Some also wished that John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), too, can be with them, but the actor is busy playing the role of Negan in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
Castiel, Crowley Will Work Together To Put Lucifer Down?
Meanwhile, the much-awaited appearance coming in "Supernatural" Season 12 is Rick Springfield's take as Lucifer. Now that the fallen angel can roam the earth freely, he can also openly spread wickedness all over the world. Of course, Castiel (Misha Collins) will never allow that to happen as he is once again up to fight the villain, Christian Times reported.
However, Castiel might get the help of Crowley (Mark Sheppard) to fight against Lucifer as he, too, wants to put down the king of hell. Crowley wants to get back his position and he could only do it if he works with an angel in "Supernatural" Season 12.
"Castiel and Crowley have kind of teamed up in season 12 and are working together," Misha Collins told Entertainment Weekly. The 42-year-old star revealed that fans will witness a different kind of alliance between Castiel and Crowley. "Supernatural" Season 12 will return on Oct. 13 on The CW at 9 p.m.
