Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Revolution DLC Gets a Video Preview, Lets Players Play as Zombies

After little sneak peeks courtesy of an Amazon post and some liberated promotional material, Treyarch and Activision are finally offering an official look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Revolution map pack.

The video below gives the first look yet at all the new maps, ranging from a snowy French ski resort, Pakistani hydroelectric plant, to a Venice skate park. In addition to the maps for the multiplayer mode, there's also a new map for the co-op Zombies mode, new zombie mode letting gamers play as one of the hungry dead, and the first ever DLC weapon for the Call of Duty series. Check it out below!

Ah, sweet options to keep players gaming into the wee hours of the morning.

Xbox 360 players get first dibs for the Revolution Map Pack near the end of this month, Jan. 29. It'll likely release on other platforms at a later date, though neither Activision or Treyarch has confirmed this.

Since its release, Black Ops 2 has managed to gross over $1 billion, which is just another milestone for the shooter. Shortly after the game's launch, it was revealed that Black Ops 2 managed to set records as Amazon's most pre-ordered game ever. It also managed to hit a sell-through of over $500 million worldwide in the first 24 hours of its release, according to Chart-Track.

GameStop president Tony Bartel wrote that the retailer sold more than 1 million units worldwide, decalaring, "'Black Ops II' is shaping up to be our biggest game launch of all time." It currently stands as one of the most played online games on about every major platform.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out now for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and the Nintendo's Wii U.
