In the return of "Better Call Saul" Season 3, it might take its fans back to the time that Jimmy McGill is on his way to becoming Saul Goodman. Aside from that, in an interview with Peter Gould, he revealed the future of the much-favorite lawyer.
'Better Call Saul' Season 3 Will Show Jimmy McGill's Transformation To Saul Goodman
Peter Gould was asked if "Better Call Saul" Season 3 characters will ever have a happy ending. He admitted to Vulture that nothing is set yet as they might only focus on the transformation of Jimmy McGill becoming Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). "This show we have Jimmy McGill becomes Saul Goodman. Which in some ways seems is not quite an extreme journey," he said.
"Better Call Saul" Season 3 happens six years before "Breaking Bad" takes place. It will feature the story of Jimmy McGill when he is still a small time public prosecutor until he becomes the famous "Saul Goodman." To recall, he was first known as Saul Goodman the lawyer who helped Walter White (Bryan Cranston) to sell his crystal meth.
Will Chuck Betray His Brother?
In "Better Call Saul" Season 2, Jimmy McGill was seen telling his brother Chuck (Michael McKean) that he was responsible for manipulating the Mesa Verde documents. He did this to persuade Chuck to continue practicing law, but it will be used against him. Chuck is going to betray Jimmy McGill by releasing a recorder with their conversation that might ignite the latter's transformation in "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Inquisitr reported.
"These brothers have suffered such a rift already - At what point does Jimmy's love, respect, and caring for his brother become permanently broken?" Peter Gould told Entertainment Weekly. He also revealed that this is the side of the story that they are now developing in the writers' room and trying to see the outcome. "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is expected to be out in 2017 on AMC.
