According to the synopsis for the episode 1 of "The Blacklist" Season 4, Red will be out finding the whereabouts of Liz. During the finale of the previous season, Liz was seen with Tom (Ryan Eggold) and their daughter Agnes escaping to Cuba. However, Alexander Kirk, which is played by Ulrich Thomsen, found out about her and managed to abduct the FBI agent/profiler-turned blacklist consultant.
In a report by Entertainment Weekly, Liz and Red could be heading for a reunion in "The Blacklist" Season 4. The speculations started when Red is said to have rescued Liz from Kirk after finding the hideout of the charismatic villain. However, the publication did not specify as to which episode the reunion will happen. Meanwhile, series creator Jon Bokenkamp said during an interview with TV Line that the character of Alexander Kirk holds some information about the past life of Elizabeth Keen.
"Kirk is a character who has a firm grasp on truths about Elizabeth Keen's past, unlike any character we have had before. Over time, he will be unveiling truths about who Elizabeth Keen is, where she comes from and what her connection is to Kirk, to her mother and, to Reddington." "The Blacklist" Season 4 will air on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m.
