Arkane Studios' "Dishonored 2" may have just revealed one shocking yet acceptable detail for fans of the original. Generally, fans can either speculate or believe that the former lead of the first title will be gone for good.
As many fans may know, the original surrounded mainly on Corvo Attano, whose back story revolves rather interestingly. Fifteen years later, the story of "Dishonored 2" has finally spawned, with the participation and playability of Emily Kaldwin-but being together may be something that will not last too long for the deadly pair.
According to Twinfinite, rumors have surrounded on the potential killing of Corvo Attano for "Dishonored 2." Despite being just a simple guess, there were alleged clues that point to the possibility of the said theory.
Such rumor was instigated by Attano speaking to his mask with the words "one last time, old friend" which could signify the death of said character after one more journey. Some guesses also point to the not only Attano's passing, but also that of Kaldwin if all things considered in "Dishonored 2."
As per Mobile and Apps, a major giveaway that some are also looking for is the continuous release of footage for Kaldwin and not much of Attano. For "Dishonored 2," most of what occurs is the highlighting of Kaldwin's abilities and styles that can be done to finish the game.
While in the talk of playing styles, Arkane Studios made the promise that "Dishonored 2" will allow players to finish the game without having to kill anyone along the way. This, however, is still considered an option, as the violent and bloody means of accomplishing stays in the title and is entirely dependent on the player's choice.
"Dishonored 2" is expected to launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC by November 11. Stay tuned for further news and updates here at Gamenguide.
