The miniseries "The Night Of" Season 1 recently concluded with just eight episodes. As it instantly caught viewers' attention with its different kind of style and theme, many are now awaiting the coming of "The Night Of" Season 2. Now, fans have a reason to celebrate as Amara Karan hinted the possibility that a new installment is about to come.
Amara Karan Hints The Coming Of 'The Night Of' Season 2
No one confirms the coming of "The Night Of" Season 2 yet, but Amara Karan hinted that it will definitely return. In an interview with Variety, the 32-year-old star was asked what fans might expect to the future of her role. "You're going to have to tune into 'The Night Of' Season 2! You could invent so many wonderful stories," she said. The Sri Lankan-English actress teased that Chandra might have her own law firm and start her career again.
Executive Producers Talk About Developing 'The Night Of' Season 2
This has been agreed by the show's executive producer Steven Zaillian. He said that the crime drama based on the British TV series, "Criminal Justice," was originally planned to be "a stand-alone piece." However, he also disclosed that they are now talking about developing "The Night Of" Season 2. "We're thinking about it and if we come up with something we all feel is worthy of doing, we'll do it," he told Hollywood Reporter.
Although the show is only meant to have one series, they feel like it should be continued with another season that could focus on another subject. To recall, "Criminal Justice" ran for two seasons and they, too, could do it with "The Night Of" Season 2. Another executive producer Richard Price explained that their TV program is a total opposite of "Law and Order" and they can't simply produce it easily and air on TV. HBO has yet to announce the coming and air date of "The Night Of" Season 2.
