During the E3 2016, Hideo Kojima introduced his new cinematic teaser and according to him, "Death Stranding" is one of his best works. Though the game will also run in 4K and HDR, Kojima confirmed that the game is PS4 Exclusive.
Given the unique setup of the game, one of the minor glitches for the gamers is the exclusiveness of "Death Stranding." With reports indicating that the game would first be played in PS4 platforms, rumors of the Xbox users waging war against the "Metal Gear" creator is rising. Despite the speculations, there are no confirmations thus debunking the rumors against Hideo Kojima.
"Death Stranding" is starred by Norman Reedus which appeared to be a result of a human experimentation. During the E3 event Kojima shared a very slight detail about the game, Wired noted. The game refers to the strange deaths of all the creatures in the sea including the whales and the fishes stranded on the shore.
Hellboy Director Guillermo Del Toro helped developed "Death Stranding" which took Reedus to be the lead star. Which also lead to speculations of Del Toro's involvement in the game. Moreover, Kojima planned to reboot the horror franchise of the "Cancellation of Silent Hills."

GamenGuide reported that, "Death Stranding" is an action game that talks about freedom in a world where everything is connected by strands. He also confirmed that the game features a combative aspect which still focus on linking between players as well. Kojima proudly says, "this is his best project yet."

Kojima Productions founder wanted to show the world that indie studio can also compete and make a world class masterpiece. Right now, Kojima is still taking his time on making more developments for "Death Stranding."
As for the specs and features of the game, "Death Stranding" can only be played in PlayStation 4 exclusively. As for its release date, has no confirmation yet according to the developer.
