Apple's next tablet, the iPad Pro 2 is rumored to take the spotlight in 2017. This rumor was sparked by KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who also revealed that two new tablets are set to be released in 2017. The tablets will be differentiated in the 9.7-inch version and the 10.5-inch model.
The iPad Pro 2 is expected to be packed with a lot of improved specs. The 10.5-inch tablet is reportedly powered by the A10X chip while the 9.7-inch model will feature an A9X chip. The larger variant is targeted at the commercial and education sector with its improved screen zooming, panning, and scrolling, Headlines and Global news reported.
In addition, the iPad Pro 2 will also boast waterproofing technology that could capture brilliant images of underwater life and the true-to-life sketching and note-taking of the Apple Pencil. An updated version of the iOS 10 is also in the works, which may be released together with the upcoming tablet device to open a new and wider integration to app usage.
The iPad Pro 2 may also include a 12MP iSight Camera and a 5MP front-facing HD camera that will include 4K video recording capabilities. The iPad Pro 2 may also reduce in weight and thickness as it is expected to come out as a slimmer and lighter successor, which could mean the removal of the 3.5mm jack, Gospel Herald reported.
The iPad Pro flagship device is already expected to come out in stores in 2017, which is expected to come with major improvements. Some of its notable features is also said to include water-resistant feature and the maximized use of the Apple Pencil.
Currently, the iPhone 7 takes center stage with its imminent release as well as the highly anticipated Apple Watch 2 and the MacBook Pro, which is said to pack a lot of incredible features and major improvements. Both the iPhone 7 and the Apple Watch 2 are expected to debut this week, whereas it may take a while for the MacBook Pro which is rumored to roll out in Fall.
