It is January 2013, and the holiday gaming slump of 2012 is finally over! There will finally be some new releases and some great new add-ons for previously released games. Here are five things gamers have to look forward to this month:
5. The Return of Halo 4's Spartan Ops: Season one returns with five brand new episodes for the cooperative multiplayer mode. Each wee there will be a brand new set of missions for gamer to complete either by themselves of with some friends. The second half of Spartan Ops Season 1 returns on Jan. 21, and will features brand new stories, missions and locations. Check out the trailer below...
4. Anarchy Reigns: A new online beat 'em up action combat video game developed by Platinum Games, published by Sega that will release on Jan. 8 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will feature characters from previous Sega games like Madworld and Bayonetta. Player will be treated to several multiplayer modes including Tag Team, Battle Royale, Death Match, Capture the Flag, and Survival. Check out the trailer below..
3. Far Cry 3 High Tide DLC (PS3): Players will get to return to the lush jungles of Far Cry 3 soon enough with this new PlayStation 3 exclusive add-on. The DLC picks up where the cooperative mode concluded and finishes the story of Leonard, Tisha, Mikhail and Callum. The DLC promises new missions, bigger competitions and tougher fights, plus it is free. Check the trailer below...
2. Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt DLC: There is still more to do in the beautifully cel-shaded alien world of Pandora. A new villain is set to emerge and continue the criminal and villainous legacy of Handsome-Jack. The brand new digital content includes new loot, new quests, a variety of challenging and exotic new enemies, a new vehicle and more. It will be available on Jan. 15. Check out the trailer below...
1. DmC: Devil May Cry: Dante's return to the world of hack and slash and demonic beat'em ups looks way different, but that isn't a bad thing. If the recently released demo is an indication of the game, this reboot should make fans forget all about the platinum locks of yesteryear's Dante. Since the game is set in parallel universe, the original Dante still exist so don't worry about him. The game will release on Jan. 15 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release will follow on Jan. 25 as a digital release. Check out the trailer below...
