The "Gilmore Girls" are back after nine years and this time it is going to be a miniseries. The miniseries will be in Netflix and this is titled" Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life."
According to Cosmopolitan, "Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life" is a mini movie where each movie will run for 90 minutes. This will also cover the four season of the year. 'Winter' is the first episode and is written by Amy Sherman-Palladino so is the final episode, 'Fall.' Amy's husband, Daniel Palladino wrote 'Spring' and 'Summer.'
The original characters from the original show are coming back. Edward Herman's passing is the major absence for the revival. Herman played the patriarch of the show, Richard Gilmore. "Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life" will start four months after Herman's death. His death is incorporated in the script and Emily (Kelly Bishop) will grieve over her loss.
Aside from the original characters returning for "Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life," there are also new ones coming in. Sutton Foster will portray the role of a struggling actress who will star in 'Stars Hollow: The Musical.' Mae Whitman will also make an appearance.
In a report from Digital Spy the Lane's twins come baCk to the "Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life." Berta and Alejandro are the new Peruvian couple who will live in Stars Hollow.
Meanwhile Netflix has confirmed that the four episodes of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life" will be aired one time. So it seems that it will be binge watching for fans. The four episodes are set to air on November 25, 2016.
The series had a temporary title "Gilmore Girls: Seasons" and was changed to the final one later on. This year the girls are back for the"Gilmore Girls: A Year In Life." Fans can binge in this latest revival.
