There are still no official announcements for the upcoming action camera the GoPro Hero 5. As stated on our previous report, the GoPro Hero 5 might be launched this coming September 19 together with the Karma Drone, the first ever drone that will be released by GoPro. Fans are very eager to see what will be the new features the GoPro Hero 5 will bring.
According to a report from Christian Today, the GoPro Hero 5 might be able to record 8K resolution videos for 30fps, 4K resolution at 60fps and a 1080 resolution for 240fps. The GoPro Hero 5 is also expected to have an improved battery than its predecessors; it will have an 1160 mAh to 1220 mAh battery capacity and a USB-C port, to make charging and data transfers a lot faster.
The upcoming GoPro Hero 5 might also have a recording and voice control feature, as stated by DigitalTrends. With this new feature, it will make taking pictures and recording videos a lot easier than before. Especially that these types of action cameras are frequently used outdoors and the environment might make it hard for the users to set up a recorded video.
However, it is also reported that the GoPro Hero 5 might be sold in a bundle with the Karma Drone. Consumers might be disappointed if this ever happens because this will only make the device more expensive. But, this might also be a good idea, consumers might get a discount instead of purchasing the camera and the drone separately.
The GoPro Hero 5 is also rumoured to have a cloud back up. This will allow the users to safely save their captured moments easily and transfer them to their other device afterwards. Fans also speculated an LTE feature in the upcoming GoPro Hero 5; the LTE connectivity feature will allow the users to stream their videos live though social media sites.
