'Regular Show' Season 8 Officially The Final Season! What's In Store For Mordecai And Rigby?

"Regular Show" has been one of the most successful shows on Cartoon Network, second only to the wildly popular "Adventure Time". So it's easy to see why fans of the series were shocked when creator JG Quintel confirmed that "Regular Show" Season 8 would be its final season. Nevertheless, the man who provides Mordecai's voice also promised that the last adventure will be an awesome one.

"We’re so proud and excited for people to see how we’re wrapping things up in a big, big way," Quintel told Variety. The "Regular Show" Season 8 creator also stated that Mordecai and Rigby will get the conclusion they deserve. "We’re bringing everything full circle," he said.

So what exactly will happen in "Regular Show" Season 8? The final season will go by the theme "In Space", so that pretty much confirms that Mordecai and Rigby are going to outer space. The premiere episode is also titled "One Space Day at a Time" and is set to follow the events in the Season 7 finale "Rigby's Graduation Day Special". The first episode will find the 7 being sent into space with Eileen.

"Regular Show" Season 8 will have 34 episodes starting with "One Space Day at a Time". The final season will premiere on Cartoon Network on September 26.
