"NCIS" Season 14 will bring back a character from its previous season. Fans would easily want Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) to come back and reunite with the gang, but sadly, he isn't. However, another Tony DiNozzo is set to come back - the senior version. It has been confirmed that Robert Wagner's Tony DiNozzo Senior will appear as a guest in the new season of "NCIS."
According to a spoiler report from Yahoo TV, Wagner will definitely return to "NCIS" Season 14 and he's bound to bring fun to the episode. It remains to be seen in which episode Tony DiNozzo Senior will appear, but what's certain is that it's going to be an interesting episode. Even though it's the different DiNozzo confirmed to return, rumors about the quirky Tony returning continue to spread.
According to reports, the younger Tony will indeed make a guest appearance in "NCIS" Season 14 and it's likely during McGee's (Sean Murray) wedding. MgGee is set to marry his girlfriend Delilah (Margo Harshman) and the wedding is expected to happen at the end of the season, TV Guide reported. Tony's return, however, has yet to be confirmed and fans can only hope this holds true.
Meanwhile, the "NCIS" Season 14 will also introduce several new faces that will fill the void that Weatherly had left behind. One of them is Wilmer Valderrama, who plays Agent Nick Torres, a deep undercover agent for eight years. Nick was soon forgotten that even his superiors thought he was long dead. However, a turn of events blew up his cover while he was in Argentina.
Speaking to The Wrap, Valderrama describes his character to be a lone wolf who's having a rough time. However, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) thinks he is a unique character that will be a great addition to the team. Also on board for "NCIS" Season 14 is Jennifer Esposito, who will play Agent Alex Quinn. The series returns to CBS on Sept. 20, Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. ET.
