Capcom Offers Resident Evil 6's Retro Duds as DLC

Sometimes it's better to look back than forward, and in no case is that more abundantly clear than with Capcom's Resident Evil 6.

Capcom is going old school, offering up some DLC outifts sporting serious polygons for players participating in Resident Evil 6's future online events.

The first of many, "Zombie Mayhem" kicks off a few days after Christmas, Dec. 28. Join the ranks of players participating in zombie genocide, and you can snag yourself one of the old school outfits. All that takes is for you and the rest of the online participants to take down a total of 50 million zombies. Y'know, no biggie.

Have a look see at the outfits below. They showcase veterans Leon, Ada, Chris, and Sherry in their original outfits when they made their Resident Evil debut. Newcomers Helena and Piers also get a de-make as well.

The word on the multiplayer comes way of the Capcom Unity blog. They haven't announced which outfit comes first, but we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear anything. More events will be announced via Capcom's official Resident Evil site.

You can check out the official rules for the contest below.

"The city's crawling with zombies, take 'em out! We can't even tell how many are out there, but if you work together we're sure you'll be able to kill 50 million of them!
