"Dancing With the Stars" Season 23 is all set to showcase some of the most talented dancers. Even before the dance contest started, there are already predictions as to who among the contestants will take home the mirror ball trophy.
According to Gold Derby, Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez will have the best chance of winning "Dancing With the Stars" Season 23. Hernandez, being a gymnast, has exemplary skills on different apparatuses. She excels in floor exercises and she is remarkable when it comes to rhythmic moves, which should give her an advantage on the dance floor.
Hollywood Take seems to agree with Gold Derby's predictions as Hernandez is clearly a flexible individual who can execute dance moves well. According to the publication, the gymnast is obviously a front-runner in "Dancing With the Stars" Season 23. Apart from Hernandez, Ryan Lochte is also predicted to be a clear winner for this season.
Like Hernandez, "Dancing With the Stars" Season 23 contestant Lochte is also an Olympic athlete, which gives him an advantage. Although he is fit enough to conquer the dance floor, being a swimmer won't guarantee that he will win the mirror trophy ball. As stated in the report, Lochte might even have difficulty when getting votes following his robbery scandal in Rio Olympics 2016. Some predicted that he will even be the first contestant to get eliminated.
Meanwhile, other contestants of "Dancing With The Stars" Season 23 predicted to win the competition are 64-year-old actress Marilu Henner, who is partnered with pro dancer Derek Hough; race car driver James Hinchcliffe; and American model and fashion designer Amber Rose.
It seems that all eyes are on 16-year-old Hernandez for her flexibility. Can she conquer the dance floor and take home the mirror ball trophy as predicted? Find out on "Dancing With The Stars" Season 23, premiering on Sept. 12, 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
