Duke Nukem Styled Shadow Warrior Coming to iOS This Week

It's been 15 years since Wang Lo debuted in the Duke Nukem styled FPS, Shadow Warrior, but he's set to return. The game will be available to download on iOS devices later this week courtesy of a team up between developers 3D Realms and self described fanboys General Arcade.

The game was officially announced for the platform back in November via 3D Realms site, but an exact release date wasn't given at the time.

Shadow Warrior was a shooter in the same vein as Duke Nukem 3D, complete with the trademark 90's attitude, over the top weapons, and low-brow humor. But as it offered the same gameplay and humor players experienced before, with classy lines like "Do you want to wash Wang or do you want to watch Wang wash Wang?" Wang Lo didn't make the same splash as his blonde haired counterpart. If you were among one of many who missed out on this title, you can read an official description below, as well as check out a brand new trailer.

"Lo Wang. Master ninja assassin for 20 years. A Shadow Warrior. Shadow warriors are the best of the best, and Lo Wang was the best of the Shadow warriors. Every top company in Japan had a shadow warrior... a protector, a negotiator, a cleaner.

Lo Wang worked for Zilla Enterprises, a conglomerate with control in every major industry. Too much control. Power corrupts, and Master Zilla's corporation was corrupted to the core.

Lo Wang discovered Master Zilla's demonic scheme to rule Japan, using creatures summoned from the dark side. A man of honor, Lo Wang quit. But one as powerful as Wang either must be on your side, or on no one's side. Master Zilla unleashes his creations for their first test: to kill a single man, a shadow warrior.. Lo Wang!"

Shadow Warrior will be available for download from the App Store sometime this week, but an official date or price have not yet been known. If you find the touch controls to be a little off, you can also download the game via Gog for $3.
