Red Dead Revolver, Bully, and Other Rockstar Classics Possibly Coming to PSN

As tends to happen, ahead of any announcement from Rockstar, six of their acclaimed titles from the last PlayStation console were recently rated by the ESRB, signaling a possible re-release on PSN.

Bully
, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Midnight Club, Midnight Club 2, Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix, and Red Dead Revolver were the six said titles. All were listed for release on PlayStation 3, likely to be made available as PlayStation 2 classics.

Why these games?

Well, as both Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas launched on PSN and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City released on iOS and Android devices, why not release another title in the series for gamers to replay?

The decision to release Bully could be a way for the company to test the waters for a possible sequel. Rockstar chief Dan Houser had mentioned an interest in returning to the dog eat dog world of Jimmy Hopkins following the release of Max Payne 3.

The Midnight Club games were all very well received, so releasing a collection makes sense. It could also serve as a potential appetizer for some sort of Midnight Club 5 announcement. As for Red Dead Revolver, with its separate story from Redemption, and only slightly above average scores, it's likely just a title to help round out a PS2 Rockstar collection.

Rockstar Games has yet to comment on the games' potential re-releases.
