‘Dead Rising’ Triple Pack Release Date, News & Update: 3 Zombie Games In One Bundle Enhanced For PS4 Console

As "Dead Rising" enters its 10th year, Capcom has an exciting surprise for fans of the survival horror beat 'em up series. With the game's tenth anniversary, Capcom will be releasing the "Dead Rising" Triple Pack.

'Dead Rising' Triple Pack - Enhanced Graphics For Older Titles

Capcom announced that it will be re-releasing older titles in the franchise in a bundle. The "Dead Rising" Triple Pack will contain three previous games; the original "Dead Rising," "Dead Rising" 2 and "Dead Rising" 2: Off The Record, reports the PlayStation site.

The good thing is that the older titles have been enhanced to showcase the capability of Sony's latest gen console, the PlayStation 4. While the titles still retain the classic zombie "Dead Rising" gameplay, the enhanced games now sport sharper video output of 1080p resolution at a smoother 60 frames per second.

Original 'Dead Rising' - The Game That Started The Franchise

The original "Dead Rising" game was introduced ten years ago in August 8, 2006. The game centers around photojournalist Frank West. Trapped in a shopping mall in some town in Colorado, West soon learns that the town is infested with zombies, thus starting the fight for survival

'Dead Rising' 2

The next game was released in September 2010. "Dead Rising" 2 follows the story of Chuck Greene, a former motorcycle champion. The story is set five years after the events in the previous game and is now set in a fictional city in Nevada.

'Dead Rising' 2: Off The Record

A remake of the second game, "Dead Rising" 2: Off The Record was released in October 11, 2011. The main difference between the two game is that Chuck Greene gets replaced by Frank West, the journalist in the first game.

'Dead Rising' Triple Pack Price

The bundle containing the three "Dead Rising" in digital format is priced at US$59.49. Zombie genre gamers who prefer to avail of the games individually may do so at a US$19.99 price. However, The "Dead Rising" 2: Off The Record game is only available in digital format, which explains why the Triple Pack is also available in digital as well.
