'Outlander' Renews For Third & Fourth Season
An exclusive sneak peek with E! News revealed what's in store for fans in "Outlander" season 3. Starz announced that the series based on Diana Gabaldon's beloved books will be renewed for a third and fourth season, covering "Voyager" and "Drums of Autumns." As such, fans will finally get to know what really happened to Jamie (Sam Heughan) at Culloden after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) left.
The short clip briefly featured the lead actor of "Outlander" season as he deftly handles his sword in preparation for the intense battle in Culloden. The whole team can be seen behind him working as he welcomes the fans on the first day of season 3. To recall, Outlander" season 2 ended with major plot twists and that includes Claire's return to her own time. The star-crossed lovers Claire and Jamie parted ways but not before Claire got pregnant with Brianna (Sophie Skelton).
With the help of her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies), Claire raised her daughter with Jamie, until Frank died. However, Brianna learned her true parentage not until after their trip back to Inverness.
