Aside from Piper (Taylor Schilling), it looks like Daya's (Dascha Polanco) life will also be in danger in the coming "Orange is the New Black" Season 5. To recall, she was last seen pointing her gun at Humphrey (Michael Torpey) that might result to a bigger problem.
Daya In Danger In 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 5?
Daya has been known as the calm inmate of Litchfield Penitentiary, but she might face a "harsh treatment" with what she had done last season, as per International Business Times. Her safety may be in danger as she might be sent to Security Housing Unit in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5. However, before Daya lose her mind at the SHU, there are swirling rumors that someone is coming to help her.
Will John Bennett Appear In 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 5 To Save Daya?
Officer John Bennett (Matt McGorry) might return to "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 and help Daya in her hard times in Litchfield Penitentiary. On the Instagram post of the 30-year-old star, he was seen with Laverne Cox, who plays the role of Sophian, in a hike in Los Angeles. However, he didn't mention anything about the show in the caption, but only their experience in hiking.

With that, the hopes of the show's fans soar high in the return of Bennett in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 to save Daya. Unfortunately, iDigitalTimes reported that the TV series' location is in New York and Connecticut and not in L.A. Hence, the picture of Matt McGorry and Laverne Cox has nothing to do with the show.
In fact, Dascha Polance was not even sure if Daya and Bennett will meet again in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5. "I would love to see that, but you have to be realistic," she told Entertainment Weekly. "He walked out of her life and her main priority right now is figuring out how she can take care of her child." Netflix has yet to announce the return of "Orange is the New Black" Season 5, but it is expected in mid 2017.
