"NBA 2K17" is subtly lurking around the corner for its much-awaited release date. Until then, fans of the series are treated to a promise of the game that will bring a much closer in-game experience.
One of the most prominent features to look out for in "NBA 2K17" is the face-scanning attribute to let the players feel themselves merging with the game. Despite thinking that it could be a grueling process, the method is considered simple with only a few details to account for.
According to I Tech Post, there are a few conditions to make the said feature for "NBA 2K17" to function as perfectly as it should. Players will no longer need to have a PlayStation Camera, or in the same case Kinect Xbox One as the predecessors required, but simply a phone.
The MyNBA2K17 app will have to do for the said game, available for the iOS and Android devices in designated stores. Players are to understand that such only works for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "NBA 2K17."
As per the 2K Games support site, players can scan their faces by first setting up a MyPlayer account that is linked to both "NBA 2K17" and MyNBA 2K17. The main menu contains a button that says Scan Your Face, with the prompts and instructions following thereafter.
By doing such, players will then be able to see themselves in the "NBA 2K17" roster. There are some key pointers, however, to perfect the face scan process, such as making sure that the lighting is reasonable.
Distorted or shadowed lighting may cause some obstructed images for the said "NBA 2K17" feature. Furthermore, players will have to make sure that their eyes are levelled with the camera, with a suggested distance of up to 18 inches apart from the phone to the player's face.
Overall, the returning feature which was developed to a more accessible method could potentially put "NBA 2K17" higher up in the gaming charts. Stay posted for more updates and news here at Gamenguide.
