A few new pictures popped up over on PlayXBLA, showing off some of this season's holiday duds in the world of Minecraft. Part of the new "Festive Skin Pack," the outfits include an eskimo getup, gingerbread man, cross-eyed Frosty the Snowman, and the fat man himself, Santa Claus, along with a more traditional elf, and his trusty reindeer.
Also seen is a zombie sporting a baked chicken helmet, classic Christmas sweater, and some Xmas camo disguising yourself as a giant, man-shaped present, as well as a Christmas tree.
You can take a peek at the pictures below.
The last skin pack for Minecraft on 360, the"Halloween Skin Pack," an October release for Minecraft on Xbox 360, "brought in a total of $770,448 for the charities," according to a tweet from 4J Studios.
Proceeds from the pack sale were split between Block by Block, Child's Play, SANDS Lothians, and Macmillan Cancer Support charities.
The packs offered a total of 55 individual skins designed by studios like Rare and Twisted Pixel, all so Minecrafters could get in the Halloween spirt. Over 380,000 players brought the pack.
If this is any indication, we can obviously expect more skins in the "Festive Pack."
The pack is said to be "coming soon," but given the nature of the costumes, should be here before Christmas.
As it stands now, Minecraft is currently the third most played online game on the Xbox 360, coming in after Halo and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Updates are currently being worked on by Mojang for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions.
