It is Friday and that means, it is time to for another Mass Effect 3 multiplayer weekend challenge. This week's operation takes its name from a historical and pivotal battle in the Texas Revolution. The operation is Alamo and it takes place from Dec. 14 to Dec. 16.

Event Description:
The Reapers are taking advantage of our forces being spread thin and are making a push for Menae. Alliance Intelligence predicts that the Reapers are luring us into committing large-scale defenses to the moon that they will wipe out. Our counter-strategy is to insert small, stealthy units to conduct disruptive offensives and hold the firebase during their hopefully weakened attacks.
Team Goal:
Earn the "Survived 5 Waves" medal on the Firebase Condor map at any difficulty. Extraction not required.

The Weekend Challenge feature of Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer began as a bi-weekly event but has since changed with the launch of the Retaliation DLC pack. Whenever a player enters the multiplayer section of the game, they are notified about the new Weekend Challenge.Players are able to instantly track their progress through the challenges and also receive bonuses and awards for completing events.

How do I participate in the N7 Challenge Weekend:
To participate, you will need to:
Ensure you have access to Mass Effect 3 multiplayer and can play matches
Progress tracking and unlocks are only possible if you have data tracking enabled. To verify this, in the game go to: Options -> Online -> Upload Gameplay Feedback, and make sure it is "ON". If this is set to "OFF" your completion and/or contribution to the challenges will not be tracked and you will not receive any unlocks.
Beginning with Operation Exorcist running April 27-30, weekend challenges will be available on ALL platforms.
When will I receive the unlockable packs, and do I need to input a code to get them?
Unlocks will be granted during the week after the Challenge Weekend. No codes are required, you will automatically receive your packs in the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer Store.
What is in the Commendation? Can I choose my unlocks?
The Commendation Packs contain a number of upgrades and consumables for use in ME3 multiplayer. The Commendation Packs will contain one of the following guns at random: N7 Crusader Shotgun, N7 Eagle Pistol, N7 Hurricane SMG, N7 Valiant Sniper Rifle, and N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle. This unlock cannot be swapped or changed.
