GoPro Inc. has remained quiet when it comes to fresher updates about the hotly anticipated GoPro Hero 5. The next action camera is expected to be introduced sometime during the holidays, but official details have yet to be revealed.
It seems that GoPro Hero 5 might just be introduced very soon, if rumors are anything to go by. GoPro has finally teased the launch date of one of its hot releases, the Karma Drone, which was introduced late last year. On Twitter, the company's post hinted that Karma will be unveiled on Sept. 19.
For months, there were reports claiming that the next action camera will be released with Karma Drone as a bundle. Now that Karma's launch date is confirmed, speculations about GoPro Hero 5's release date are getting stronger. Fans are now expecting that Hero 5 will also be unveiled at the same time as Karma. This has not been confirmed yet but fans who've been waiting for the device are holding on to hope that the speculation would turn out right.
Meanwhile, specs of the GoPro Hero 5 have not been officially confirmed and everything that's been circulating online is purely based on speculations. What's certain is that Hero 5 will have upgraded specs and more efficient video recording capability. The latest action camera model is also expected to be a game-changer for GoPro. As reported by Investor Place, Hero 5 and Karma should boost the company's sales. It is predicted that the arrival of the devices will increase the sales by 54 per cent in the next quarter and by 22 per cent in 2017.
Sept. 19 is just around the corner and fans will soon be introduced to GoPro's Karma Drone. As for GoPro Hero 5, everyone will just have to wait and see if the action camera will also share the same spotlight as the drone.
