"Tis the season for DOA 5 DLC costumes, fa la la la la...eh, you get the picture.
Team Ninja has released the 6th DLC pack for Dead or Alive 5, and it's a festive one at that. This DLC pack dons fighters as slightly more svelte Kris Kringles to celebrate the season of giving. Ironic since you'll have to shell out a few bucks to get the costumes, but everyone has a mortgage.
The DLC dresses DOA ladies Kasumi, Hitomi, Leifang, Ayane, Christie, and Tina as more ferocious versions of Mrs. Claus, and Hayabusa, Jann Lee, Bayman, Bass, Hayate and Akira as the jolly fat man himself.
Only one problem. Check out the pictures of DOA 5's boys n' girls below decked out in Christmas gear and see if you can tell what it is.
Hint: THEY"RE ALL THE SAME FRIGGIN' COSTUMES! C'mon, Team Ninja. You can't break up the monotony with an elf costume or something? Maybe a snowman at least?
The DLC outfit set will be released on Dec. 11 for Xbox 360, and Dec. 18 for PlayStation 3. You can buy the DLC as packs for $2.99 or 240MSP. Alternatively, you can buy all of them for $7.99 or 640MSP. Either way, it's a lot to pay for just two costumes. The decision is yours later this month.
