Johnny Depp has a new movie under his belt entitled "Labyrinth." He will play a hotshot investigator focusing on the case of Tupac and Biggie also known as Notorious B.I.G. "Labyrinth" will be based on a 2002 book and will be directed by Brad Furman.
This latest movie project for Johnny Depp will hopefully serve as his redemption from the last movie he starred in, "Black Mass." The said movie was a flop which caused another dent in the actor's career.
In the up and coming Johnny Depp movie, he will be investigating the death of music's legends, Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur. This is another biopic where Johnny Depp will play the role of Russell Poole. Although in real life, Russell Poole didn't really have a significant findings in his celebrity investigations. However, Poole exposed another shocking aspect which involved corruption in Los Angeles Police Department.
Slash Film reports that the said film will be introduced in the Toronto International Film Festival. With Johnny Depp under the helms of the movie, it will definitely be not difficult to market. Production for "Labyrinth" is scheduled to begin within this year.
"Labyrinth" movie is expected to be a make or break for Johnny Depp's career. This will determine if "Sweeney Todd's" resiliency will break barriers despite of his domestic trouble and latest movie flop. Aside from "Labyrinth," Depp is also expected to still be a part of "Pirates Of The Caribbean 5" alongside Orlando Bloom.
