FX is still continuously revealing different teasers for the coming "American Horror Story" Season 6. As these all trailers are released to mislead fans, some believed that the leaked title, "American Horror Story: The Mist," will be the show's original theme.
Comcast, Xfinity Also List 'American Horror Story' Season 6 With 'The Mist'
According to Bloody Disgusting, even on Comcast and Xfinity's TV guide in Chicago, "American Horror Story" Season 6 is listed as "American Horror Story: The Mist." Not only that, the first episode of the show is also revealed with the title, "Chapter 1." To recall, Rotten Tomatoes and TV Guide first listed the TV series with the same aforementioned heading.
If this indeed will be "American Horror Story" Season 6's official concept, no one knows what would be "The Mist" storyline. It is not yet known why FX still keeps it a secret, aside from the fact that it is giving the show a lot of attention and making it hype. However, if this is real, it might contradict the coming of the real TV adaptation of Stephen King's "The Mist." Spike TV and Dimension Films are now working for a new TV series with the same title that might cause a little confusion between the two shows.
Another Teaser Revealed!
Meanwhile, AHS World recently revealed another teaser for the upcoming "American Horror Story" Season 6 on its YouTube page. Titled "Bite Me" and believed to be the 25th trailer released on the record, it featured a spider that might work as the show's theme. It, too, comes with a poster of a man with a lined spider on her back that getting to his skin.
"One is accurate; all the rest are misdirected," FX CEO John Landgraf said about the number of teasers coming out. "We decided, Ryan [Murphy] and I and [marketing president] Stephanie Gibbons, that it would be really fun this year...to keep it a mystery." "American Horror Story" Season 6 will return on Sept. 14 on FX.
