Combos are about to get much longer, and scores will climb substantially higher, now that the Revert Pack is available for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD.
The pack includes three levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 - Airport, Los Angeles and Canada - as well as two new playable characters, James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo from Metallica. The band's track "All Nightmare Long" will also be included to the game's soundtrack.
But the most anticipated part of the DLC is, without doubt, the revert move. Added when THPS 3 debuted, the quick spin allowed players to chain together ground combos to tricks pulled in half and quarter pipes, sending scores even higher than previously thought possible.
It was earlier mentioned that the revert move would be exclusive only to the levels from THPS 3, but this rumor has thankfully been disproven. The revert move itself is a free grab for all Hawk fans, coming by way of a title update, it's the rest of the pack that will cost, going for 400 MS Points on XBLA, or $4.99 on PSN. For PC gamers, the pack is coming to Steam "within a couple days" according to Activision.
Released over the summer for XBLA, THPSHD managed to sell 120,000 units during its first week.
Tony has said he hopes to add more features, levels, and characters down the road. In an April interview with IGN, Hawk said, "I want to release all new levels and not just live in the past like this...new skaters, new tricks, things like that, and release them as digital content so they're affordable."
