The major cliffhanger from "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale angered the fans and some blame its director Greg Nicotero for hanging everyone. Although the 53-year-old television producer feels no remorse about it, he only explained the reason behind it and hinted that they might be a death of multiple characters.
Negan And His Lucille Might Kill A Couple Of Characters?
"If we would have shown the deaths, then they wouldn't have felt our characters in season 7 the way they need to," Greg Nicotero told Entertainment Weekly. Noticeably, he used plural words when explaining about the coming deaths in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Hence, fans quickly assume that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his bat Lucille will not only kill a single character but might be a couple.
Not only that, Greg Nicotero also hinted that the deaths will bring a major change in the coming "The Walking Dead" Season 7. "That moment changes the entire makeup of our universe within a split second and it's that moment that launches our entire season 7 into that direction," he explained. The death will surely not end the fictional world of the walkers but to see how Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the group will handle it.
New Teaser Hints Who Will Meet Their Demise?
Meanwhile, AMC recently dropped its latest trailer for the coming "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Vanity Fair reported that if fans are going to scrutinize the teaser, they might have the idea who will meet Lucille's end. The new video mainly focuses on Negan and the show's other characters, like Morgan (Lennie James), Carol (Melissa McBride), Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Dwight (Austin Amelio). These guys are believed to be safe.
Rick, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) are might be protected from Lucille as they play important roles. Aaron (Ross Marquand), Sasha (Sonequa Martin), Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Rosita (Christian Serratos) are only playing secondary roles, so their death might not really affect the show. Hence, the only left ones are Michonne (Danai Gurira), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and some believe that one or two of them will meet their demise. "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will air on Oct. 23 on AMC.
