“The Sims 4” continues to ramp up the excitement with EA holding off on any hope for “The Sims 5” for now. No thanks to its poor sales performance, EA and Maxi are likely exploring options right now and most of it point to enhancements towards the existing PC-based game.
In a previous post, the release of a possible expansion pack titled “City Life” was covered though it remains afloat. With no game console or successor up, game developers are believed to be focusing on adding more content in the form of DLCs and expansion packs.
Toddler addition leak
While the alleged “City Life” expansion should be neat, how about adding more characters for “The Sims 4”? Everyone has seen the usual adults and kids but what about toddlers?
The probability cropped up after one player stumbled upon a file that was initially believed to help increase the number of characters for “The Sims 4”. All of that surfaced in a Spanish blog as spotted by a modder, hinting of another potential feature that could be coming out soon.
EA downplays leak
While the addition of toddlers should be interesting for “The Sims 4”, EA has come forward to set the records straight.
According to them, the spotted files were pieces of an old asset from an abandoned project of EA. The files were reportedly the creation of the Sims Team for CEO Andrew Wilson, serving as a celebration for the newborn baby of Wilson, per reports.
The unique piece of art of our CEO & his family as Sims was crafted by our team to celebrate the birth of his new baby.

With that cleared, it all boils down back again on the “City Life” expansion pack which makes more sense. Word has it that the DLC could be out this Fall so keep an eye out for it.
