The new update for "Pokemon Go" will soon be arriving along with the new Buddy system and trainers are now preparing to welcome their new partners in the "Pokemon Go" game. There are a few known facts about how the Buddy system works, but new online leaks revealed what pokemons could possibly be the most effective buddy in the game.
Pokemon Go Hub took the liberty to search for the best possible pokemons to be chosen when the new Buddy system finally arrives in the "Pokemon Go" game. Included in the list are the amount of candies needed to evolve a certain pokemon and the amount of candies to be gained per kilometer traveled. The chart also revealed the Buddy pokemons that can evolve easily while helping the "Pokemon Go" trainer in the game.
The website placed the pokemon into 5 tiers, with the top being the best option to become buddy in "Pokemon Go." Creatures listed at the bottom part are said to be the least effective Buddy pokemons. Also, the idea for the chart is to determine what pokemon is relatively rare to find in the open world and how easy it is to evolve the creature with its small candy requirement.
In the chart, the top five best pokemons considered as effective Buddies in "Pokemon Go" are Charmeleon, Grimer, Dragonair, Kadabra and Warturtle. Charmeleon is ideally on the top spot because the pokemon just takes 100 candies to evolve it into Charizard and the player can acquire 1 candy per 2km walk when Charmeleon is assigned as a buddy in "Pokemon Go."
Meanwhile, the next top 5 pokemons efficient for the Buddy system are Machoke, Kabuto, Ivysaur, Metapod, and Charmander. In the list, Kabuto is a pretty good catch and can be evolved into Kabutops with 50 candies. But, it takes players 3km of walking to gain a candy for the pokemon.
With that said, the upcoming Buddy system will sure help players of "Pokemon Go" gain powerful pokemons to be added on their pokedex. Stay tuned to Gamenguide for more "Pokemon Go" cheats, tips and tricks!
