Ever since the augmented reality game "Pokemon GO" was released, finding specific Pokemons and knowing their spawn locations have always been a problem to players. But, what if there is a way to easily find Pokemons without using third party applications and getting banned?

According to a report from iTechPost, Google Maps' Timeline can now be used by "Pokemon GO" players because there is a new feature that has been added: the "Catching Pokemon." Most of the "Pokemon GO" critics think that this new feature of Google Map can give better data tracking than Niantic for now.

Long ago before "Pokemon GO" was released, Niantic Labs was once part of the Google company. Even though the two has gone separate ways, there are still good things left between the two companies.

Niantic launched the game "Ingress" earlier that also based on the location in Google Maps. The fact that Google Maps added a new feature called "Catching Pokemon," it could possibly mean that Niantic's "Pokemon GO" is still using data from Google Maps.

To add the "Catching Pokemon" menu in your Google Maps timeline, players would simply have to update the timeline activities on their phones. For the Android users, go to the "Your Timeline" menu, and tap the travel icon to edit and "Catching Pokemon."

According to a thread in Reddit, "Pokemon GO" players is not always Updating the Timeline in their Google Maps, till now that the "Catching Pokemon" menu has just recently been added by Google Maps. This new feature can be used as a handy tracker for all "Pokemon GO" players.
