UAV Score Requirement in Black Ops 2's Multiplayer Going Up in Next Update

UAV spamming is a serious abuse. Right up there with drugs, alcohol, camping, and spawn killing, it's something that parents should really talk to their kids about.

Luckily, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's game director David Vonderhaar agrees. Not so much that he encourages a heart to heart, but enough so that the score requirement for UAV is going up in Black Ops 2's next update.

When asked if UAV spamming would be addressed, Vonderhaar tweeted, "UAV score requirement is going up in next update, but don't tell anyone I told you."

Other details for the next Black Ops 2 update have yet to be revealed. The last update to the 360 version fixed some isues associated with streaming performance, inability to call in Dragonfire, a map exploit in Aftermath, issues with the Emblem Editor, and others.

Since its launch in November, Black Ops 2 has set records among retailers, and has brought in approximately $500 million for Treyarch so far.

The game sees players assume the role of Alex Mercer's son, David. As indicated by the trailer, the game is set in war-torn Los Angeles in the year 2025, and the People's Republic of China has invaded Los Angeles due to a global struggle involving rare earth minerals. At the same time, a terrorist by the name of Raul Menendez manages to infiltrate the miltary network to take over hundreds of the U.S's own automated drones, using them to attack its major cities. Sounds a bit far fetched, but it's really not.

While players will play as David throughout Black Ops 2, his father Alex will make an appearance, as will Frank Woods. Players will be able to make choices throughout the game that will affect the story, including a variety of endings.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out now for PC, PS3, Nintendo's Wii U, and Xbox 360.
