Although Michael Weatherly already took his final bow as Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, his exit will be welcomed with three additional characters in "NCIS" Season 14. Special Agent Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Special Agent Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito) and Special Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) are all ready to grace the coming action police procedural drama.
Additional Characters Coming In 'NCIS' Season 14
As Anthony DiNozzo left, Jethro Gibbs will be the one who is responsible for creating his own team. In "NCIS" Season 14 Episode 1, "Rouge," fans will see the role of Mark Harmon having an altercation with Alex Quinn. The character played by Jennifer Esposito sent her own team to Gibbs to take DiNozzo's place, but he turned them all down, per Christian Times.
Nick Torres will be the undercover agent coming in "NCIS" Season 14 that everyone believes to be long gone. So, it seems like Jethro Gibbs and his team's first assignment will be all about his "so-called death" that will all lead them to him. Duane Henry, too, is now promoted as a series regular, so fans could expect to see more of his character as MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves.
Jethro Gibbs, Alex Quinn Will Be The New Anthony DiNozzo And Ziva David?
Meanwhile, "NCIS" Season 14 already dropped its new teaser that sees Jethro Gibbs along with his group examining a car bomb at the capital city. This will lead them to Nick Torres, although everyone knows that he went missing in his assignment in South America. The premiere episode will also show Jethro Gibbs asking Alex Quinn to help them with their new mission.
It has been said that Jethro Gibbs saw something interesting about Alex Quinn that makes him want to work with her, as per Vine Report. There are also strong assumptions that Gibbs and Quinn will be the next Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), also known as "TiVa," in the show. "NCIS" Season 14 will return on Sept. 20 on CBS.
